Get an “X-Shaped Body” like Isaiah – Use the Same Program He Use -

“The King-Sized Killer”

If you’re not quite ready for the Snatch yet, go here and pick the program that is right for you based on your current kettlebell skill level.

Can one kettlebell exercise really build an “X-shaped” body?

One of my customers used “just” the single kettlebell Snatch in one of my programs and got some pretty impressive results in just 9 weeks.

The bigger lesson isn’t that everyone should immediately start doing Snatches.

It’s that once you build enough kettlebell skill, strength, and body control, you can get to the point where short, hard, 15–20 minute kettlebell workouts can deliver a very high payoff.

That means building a strong, powerful upper body, a tapered midsection, and serious conditioning without spending hours training.

But there’s a process.

For one of my private clients, we’re currently working through this skill progression:

Swing + Turkish Get Up → Clean + Press → Snatch

We started with TGUs to the Half-Kneeling position so he could improve shoulder position, thoracic mobility, and control.

From there:

Full Turkish Get Up.

Then the Clean + Press.

Then the Snatch.

The goal is to eventually earn the ability to use more advanced kettlebell exercises and programs effectively.

Because the real advantage of advanced kettlebell training is not just that the exercises are harder. It’s that when your skill is high enough, you can use short, demanding workouts to produce serious results with very little time.

That’s especially valuable if you’re busy and don’t have 60–90 minutes a day to train.

The key is:

1. Follow a Proven Process

2. Practice Patience and Perseverance while following that process

I put together a 5-Level kettlebell progression back in 2021 after nearly 20 years of training people from all walks of life.

Start at Level 1.

Progress to Level 2.

Then Level 3.

Decide whether you want to stay there or continue to Levels 4 and 5.

Once you can routinely operate at Levels 3 and 5, you have the skills to pursue a huge range of physical outcomes with either a single kettlebell or a pair of kettlebells.

Including the kind of short Snatch workouts featured in this video.

If you’re short on time but still want serious results, that’s the goal:

Not just “working out.”

Not just marking time.

Building enough skill to make your training efficient.
