Best “Get ‘Er Done” Kettlebell Workout Program For This Time of Year

38 Different Challenging, Short, Kettlebell Complexes & Chains Programs:

How do you keep from losing some of your ‘GAINZ’ this Christmas / Holiday season?

The Christmas / Holiday season is fully upon us.

Shopping… Parties… Recitals… Q4 deadlines… And more.

How do you keep from losing some of your ‘GAINZ’ this Christmas / Holiday season?

It’s Geoff Neupert from https://chasingstrength.com/.

Time is crunched.

And that makes it easy – even “convenient” – to skip a training session, especially over the long 4-day holiday weekends.

The problem with that, of course, is once you skip one, it becomes that much easier to skip another… and another.

And before you know it, it’s the second Monday of January and you’re in serious jeopardy of giving back some, if not much, of your “GAINZ.”

So, I wanted to give you 3 quick ideas to “get your workout in” instead of punting them into next week or beyond.

#1 - 15 Minutes of Something:

- Use a 5-minute warm up of your stiffest spots.

- Set a timer for 10 minutes.

- Get as many reps / sets of your favorite “Big Bang For Your Buck” KB exercise

- Ex. Single Clean + Press, Single Clean + Push Press, Single Clean + Jerk, Double Clean + Press, Double Clean + Push Press, Double Clean + Jerk, Snatch

(This is actually my favorite “all-in-one Get ‘Er Done” program for this time of year.)

#2 - Strength Circuit:

- Set your timer for 15 minutes

- Pick 3 exercises of your choice – A,B,C

- Perform a set of A, rest as needed.

- Then perform a set of B, rest as needed.

- Then perform a set of C, rest as needed.

- Repeat for 15 minutes.

- Done.

#3 - Complexes or Chains:

- Pick 3 to 5 exercises of your choice and run them as a complex or chain.

- Example: (Swing x5) + (Snatch x5) + (Press x5) + (Front Squat x 5)

- As many rounds as possible in whatever time period you have – 10… 15… 20 minutes.

(If you need / want more ideas, I’ll leave a link to my best kettlebell complex programs to get you through the Holidays and through the first couple of weeks of January in the video description below.) https://cart.chasingstrength.com/hard3b

None of those choices are “super sexy” – but they’ll get the job done and keep you moving forward. Most importantly, they keep away the guilt and shame of knowing you should’ve done something, but didn’t…

… And then having to find the motivation again to restart your workouts in January.

Remember this mantra –

Something is better than nothing.

You got this.

Stay Strong,

Geoff Neupert.
