If you want Chin Ups and Dips already built into a complete program – alongside your kettlebell work – check out Rebuilt After 40.

6 different templates for mixing bodyweight and kettlebell work – with 3 full programs included – the Bodyweight Bolt On has you covered.

Should you ADD bodyweight exercises to your kettlebell training?

Maybe.

But you probably don't need to add more exercises just because social media tells you that you "should."

In this video, I break down:

• 3 reasons you might actually WANT to add bodyweight exercises to your kettlebell training

• Why Pull Ups can make sense if building your Pull Ups is one of your specific goals

• How Functional Antagonistic Balance (FAB) can help complement your kettlebell training

• Why Clean + Press already does more for your body than you might think

• When to train Pull Ups separately from your kettlebell workouts

• What to do if you MUST combine them

• Why you should keep your reps low and stay away from failure

• Why Chin Ups may be a better option if your elbows are sensitive

The big mistake?

Thinking you need to pile more and more exercises onto an already effective training program. More isn't automatically better.

If you have a specific goal that bodyweight training addresses, enjoy doing the exercises, or want to add a movement that complements your kettlebell training, then bodyweight work can make a lot of sense.

But you need to add it strategically.

Especially if you're over 40.

Stay Strong,

Geoff Neupert.
