Grab a copy of Rebuilt After 40 and use either Schedule A or Schedule B (and mix it with the Squat and bodyweight exercises)

The kettlebell Clean + Press is one of the most effective exercises you can use to build strength, muscle, conditioning, and work capacity.

So why would anyone NOT use it?

Well… I came up with 10 reasons.

Some are legitimate.

Most are sarcastic.

If you physically can't perform the Clean + Press because of irreversible spine issues or shoulders that won't go overhead, that's one thing.

But if you simply don't want to get stronger, more muscular, more energetic, more capable, or more time-efficient with your training…

Well, then you probably shouldn't do it.

The Kettlebell Clean + Press can train practically your entire body while giving you a lot of training effect in a relatively short amount of time.

In this video, I break down my TOP 10 reasons NOT to use it:

1. You physically can't do it.

2. You have no desire to do it.

3. You don't value time-efficient training.

4. You don't want a stronger upper body.

5. You don't want stronger hips, hamstrings, and lower back.

6. You prefer a weaker, softer midsection.

7. You don't want stronger heart and lungs or better conditioning.

8. You don't want a more muscular upper body.

9. You don't want more energy throughout your day.

10. You don't enjoy feeling powerful and strong.

And if none of those reasons apply to you?

Then the Clean + Press might deserve a place in your training.

You can use either a single or double kettlebell, depending on your training and experience.

If you want a complete program that includes the Clean + Press along with squats and bodyweight exercises, check out REBUILT AFTER 40.

Use either Schedule A or Schedule B.

Stay Strong,

Geoff Neupert.
